You brought me to my knees this morning in the recognition “I need help”. Just like your story of the young man, being asked if he needed help and couldn’t say “yes”, at 67 I am not so young , but still “think I can do it my way”. Your article gave me the gift of remembering that I do not, and cannot be in relationship with Christ through “thinking my way through things”. As I read your words this morning I felt a “yes” arise within, I felt child like, a softening to the help and love that is always here. Thank you for asking “ do you need help?”. Thank you for offering to help through the reminder “in reality we are not separate from anything”. Christ is a State that is always here, NOW.
Thanks for sharing, Glenda. I'm glad it was helpful. And yeah - I absolutely identify with this. It's funny how far we get in our learning and yet still have days where we decide, yeah, I can go it alone!
Also thanks for reminding me - and others reading - that saying "yes" involves a "child-like softening," because that is absolutely my experience. There is a simplicity and an innocence in recognizing our need for relationship and help and the child is - has always been - a good model for that.
So thanks for being here, Glenda! Your presence and honesty make a difference. Thank you
A timely message for me, Sean, as I “feel”what is happening in the USA, during these political times. Your post serves as a reminder to not think “separate”.
Thank you, as always, for the loving way that you share.
You're welcome, Jennifer. I'm glad it was helpful and yes, as we go through these kinds of turbulence, it is helpful to remember - and then actively seek connection which, of course, means being available for connection. I forget this all the time and am grateful for the chance to remember. We are in this together.
Thanks Sean! This article helped me be more loving ALL day long. It was such a gift to me - both your article and the love within me that got activated. Truly a blessing!
You're welcome, Robyn. I'm glad it was helpful! Being in the flow of Love - extending that happiness and peace - is such a joy. Truly we are here for nothing else!
So good to read this from you dear Sean! Just what I needed on a day full of emotions. What you write here and also in my lesson for today (324), it is so comforting to know that we can walk this path together, also by paying attention to each other, being present. We are all in this together and God is with us, like my lessons of today says: "So let us follow One Who knows the way. ²We need not tarry, and we cannot stray except an instant from His loving hand. ³We walk together, for we follow Him. ⁴And it is He Who makes the ending sure and guarantees a safe returning home. "[CE W-324.2]
There is so much in your post to reflect upon for myself Sean. And I see I am so behind in reading your posts (due to circumstances). I will catch up, also in responding to your recent comment on my post.....but for now for instance this stands out for me right now in your article, you write:
"Christ" - in this context - is our shared creation, when our relationship is devoted to seeing one another as God sees us. And God does not see the reflection - God sees the creation to which the reflection points."
Thank you for being here with words like that, and for being with me on this wonderful path. If I just re-mind myself to focus on the Source and not on the reflections I will be okay. Love, Valentine 💖
You're welcome, Valentine. Thank you for reading and sharing. This unity is important to me - both as a space in which to remember what I am but also a space in which to PRACTICE remembering that. I need a lot of help :)
I'm grateful for our friendship, Valentine. In microcosm, this is how we end separation - just finding our way into meaningful dialogues that help undo fear by modeling love. Thank you for being you and for being here.
You're welcome, Silvanus. Those are hard times, when ego is so strong and vicious that we can't get away. It will pass 🙏🙏 In the meantime, thank you for being here and sharing. I'm grateful.
Once again, I am SO grateful I discovered you. You mentioned the Cape. My mother is in Hyannis and my brother in Centerville. I visit periodically - if doable, would love to connect!
Thanks for being here Jenine! I appreciate you. I have family on the Cape as well and sometimes visit - and sometimes we will visit just to be there - but I don't live there. But if we're ever visiting at the same time I'd be happy to grab a coffee or go for a walk!

I was having such a rough morning with the 'mind' attacking itself. Thank you very much.
