Absolutely beautiful, Sean. Yes, Christ is a ‘collective’. I find that remembering that I do not know what anything is for is helpful. “Be willing, then, for all of it to be undone and be glad that you are not bound to it forever. Nothing you have ever learned can help you to understand the present, or teach you to undo the past. The past is what you have taught yourself. Let it all go.” T.14.XI.2:1; 3:5-7. I find I have to be vigilant, observing my thoughts and letting them go. Every day is a ‘practice session’. The gorgeous result, often, is being in a pool of Love with another - Love unlike any human love; Love that flows back and forth with peace as its result. All I have to do it watch, bring my thoughts forward, ask and let go. Sounds easy - LOL! But practice has such gorgeous results that I can’t stop trying. With love to all.

Thanks for being here and sharing, Joanne. Vigilance matters! And yes, every day and every moment is an invitation to begin again to discover the Love and Happiness that are not contingent on understanding. I'm glad we can share this path 🙏🙏

This: Let peace, like water wearing down stone, shape and form you in an image of Love. Reminds me so much of Nisargadatta who said, "“Wisdom tells me I am nothing. Love tells me I am everything. And between the two my life flows.” Flowing, shaping...love is the way I walk in gratitude. Thank you, Sean, for sharing Christ's love with your words.

Thanks, Susan. That sentence worked for me as well - it seems to speak to some truth in me. Thank you for sharing the Nisargadatta quote - that's a helpful perspective - and for invoking gratitude. It's such an important part of the practice or the way or the lesson or whatever. Gratitude and holiness are so so close to one another. Thank you again for reading and sharing. I'm grateful we share this path 🙏🙏

These words you wrote say it all for me "Let peace, like water wearing down stone, shape and form you in an image of Love." It feels like I started off as a huge boulder and slowly the water of love is eroding my negative, fixed, thought patterns and beliefs... allowing the truth of who I really am to shine forth. I have been a hard rock to crack, but love is the answer to everything no matter what. Thank you for the love you share with us Sean. 🙏

You're welcome, Glenda. Thank you for being here and sharing. I'm very grateful.

And thank you as well for picking up on that sentence! I felt really happy writing that - felt like it came from the depths, from Love Itself. I, too, feel like a big unforgiving stone that Love has been patiently wearing away at me, making me smooth, massaging me gently into something beautiful and helpful. I'm stubborn and resistant but Love just stays with me. What a gift!

Sean,

You always write so beautifully. I feel like I'm reading poetry and a enjoying a breath of fresh air when I read your postings. I appreciate the time that you take to carefully craft your message.

Also, some 15 years ago you wrote to me with Course advice. I was having a personal, devastating challenge. I'm sure that I thanked you back then. But I'd like to thank again! I appreciate that you were put on this earth.

That said, I'd like to add "appreciation" to the qualities of gratitude and love. We want to feel like we are wanted and appreciated. I feel that our society has moved way away from that as well as kindness and helpfulness. :)

I leave you with 2 quotes from the FIP edition.

T17.V.11

"Have you been similarly grateful to your brother? Have you consistently appreciated the good efforts and overlooked mistakes? Or has your appreciation flickered and grown dim in what seemed to be the light of the mistakes?"

And this. Exactly 10 chapters before the entry above. Lol:

T-7.V.11. "Come therefore unto me, and learn of the truth in you. The mind we share is shared by all our brothers, and as we see them truly they will be healed. Let your mind shine with mine upon their minds, and by our gratitude to them make them aware of the light in them. This light will shine back upon you and on the whole Sonship, because this is your proper gift to God. He will accept it and give it to the Sonship, because it is acceptable to Him and therefore to His Sons. This is true communion with the Holy Spirit, Who sees the altar of God in everyone, and by bringing it to your appreciation, He calls upon you to love God and His creation. You can appreciate the Sonship only as one. This is part of the law of creation, and therefore governs all thought."

I have to keep reminding myself do all of the above.

I've enjoyed and am grateful everyone's comments.

Blessings and love to each of you. 💖

Thank you for sharing, Jeannie - it's so nice to read your words and to be connected with you still in this way. Thank you. A big part of why I write is to remember I am not alone, and your words make me feel welcome. It matters.

Oh yes - I agree. We want to feel appreciated and welcomed. We want to feel like our lives matter and that somebody wants us at the table or around the fire or along for the ride. I'm very grateful to folks who help me rmember that about myself (see again the above paragraph!!) and I try to remember to extend the same. Thank you for making that clear; I appreciate that.

And thanks, too, for sharing those ACIM quotes. They are on point indeed. Honestly, I most appreciated the first one because it landed in me the way ACIM sometimes does - with a little surprising nudge! It supported your point very neatly and lends important validation to the idea that we are here to care for one another in ordinary and basic ways. It's so easy to get swept up in the language. . .

Anyway, thank you for being here and being you and for reminding me of my function. I appreciate it very much, Jeannie. Blessings and love to you too 🙏🙏

As I read this on my small phone screen, I kept hoping, as I scrolled down one Light-loaded paragraph after another, that the beauty, comfort, and discovery would keep going! Thankyou, brother Sean🌅

Thanks Sean, wonderful post. Love that you mention that reframing of A Course in Miracles of "For my yoke is easy and my burden is light", so that the revised invitation from Jesus reads "let us join together, for my message is light". It is one of my favorite reframings in the Course and so powerful. Thanks for reminding me of this today, it was a day where this exact principle has been first and foremost on my mind, in demonstration. And that is what I love about the Course, that it is also so practical. ;-) Love, Valentine

Thanks for this Sean. I especially liked the partial sentence, "Give love a home in you". It tells me that I need to do something... I need to be open and allow love in. I need to give focus to feeling the love inside of me.... an attribute that stays and grows within me.

You're welcome, Robyn. Thank you for being here and sharing. Yes - giving attention to the Love that is already here, already active, already alive in us . . . that is so important. And it is a doing! I forget this still (and it took me a long time to learn) but we are really here to actively learn and apply our learning. I am so grateful I can do that with folks who gently and kindly support me 🙏🙏
